The job for our team: pressure-test\n  the layout in Dialux before a single fixture went into the ceiling — fix the\n  lux levels, kill the dark spots, and give the install team exact aiming instructions\n  for every light so nothing was guessed on-site.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eHow we approached it\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  We ran the proposed layout through our standard\n  \u003ca href=\"\/pages\/retail-showroom-lighting-design-services\"\u003eretail showroom lighting design process\u003c\/a\u003e\n  — 3D modelling of the floor, perpendicular-illuminance calculations on every\n  rack and surface, digital aiming for every fixture, and a visualisation review with\n  the client before procurement.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  The original draft was leaning heavily on ambient fill — too much soft light,\n  not enough contrast. We re-balanced it to hit our minimum \u003cstrong\u003e3:1 contrast\n  ratio\u003c\/strong\u003e from ambient floor to product-area illuminance, on a single warm\n  \u003cstrong\u003e3000K colour temperature\u003c\/strong\u003e with \u003cstrong\u003eCRI 97\u003c\/strong\u003e across every\n  fixture so fabric colours read true on the rack, on the customer, and in the\n  trial-room mirror.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eThe three lighting layers\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  \u003cstrong\u003e30 × CR1 — Ceiling Recessed Downlight.\u003c\/strong\u003e 30W, 36°\n  beam, 125 lm\/W, CRI 97, 3000K, IP20, 5-year warranty. Vertical illuminance on every rack, engineered\n  rack-by-rack in Dialux. Every spotlight got an aiming angle documented in the deck\n  so the install team didn't have to guess on-site.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eThe outcome\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  The biggest win was at the visualisation stage. Once the Odhni Sarees promoters saw the\n  3D renders, they realised they didn't need wall-to-wall ambient fill — the\n  contrast between lit merchandise and quieter empty spaces actually looked better,\n  and they could spec fewer fixtures than the original plan called for. Every dark\n  spot in the designer's draft was caught and fixed before procurement.
