Product Overview
The LT-2020 LED Neo Flex is a ready-to-run linear light — a 20 mm (W) × 20 mm (H) silicone body with the LED already built in, so there is no separate strip to buy or fit. It runs at 18W/m on 24V in RGB+WW Pixel — individually addressable colour and effects along the run. Being a Top View profile it bends in the flatter, horizontal plane, which makes it the one to reach for on arches, domes and curved coves set into a ceiling.

Power & Control
This is an addressable RGB+WW Pixel product. It needs a compatible pixel controller in addition to a 24V power supply — a plain single-colour driver or a standard (non-pixel) RGB controller will not run pixel effects on this product. Exact controller model is not specified by the vendor for this range — check with our team before ordering if you need a specific controller recommendation.

Buying guide
How to order flexible silicon profiles
Silicon profiles are sold by the metre, and the caps, clips and covers that go with them are chosen separately on each product page. This guide walks through all of it — what to measure, what to tick, and what you still need to buy.
Everything in this range is priced and ordered by the metre.
- Quantity means metresMeasure your run, round up, and enter that number. One unit of quantity is one metre.
- Shipped in one continuous lengthHowever many metres you order, it arrives as a single unbroken run — not in pieces.
- Cut to size on siteSilicone profile is trimmed to your exact dimension during installation.
- Fittings are priced separatelyCaps, clips, mesh and channel are chosen on the product page and charged on top.
Step one
Ordering your fittings
Every profile page has a Complete Your Order box between the price and the Add to Cart button. That box is where you set your length and pick the parts that go with it.
Please note — this has changed. Clips and caps used to be bundled into the profile price. They are now listed as separate items, so the figure you see against the profile is the true price of the profile alone, and you pay only for the fittings you actually tick.
| Fitting | What it does | Priced | Pre-ticked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live Cap | Closes the powered end of the run, where the wire comes in. | Per piece | Yes |
| End Cap | Closes the far, blind end of the run. | Per piece | Yes |
| Back Clip | Holds the profile in place along its length. | Per piece | Yes |
| Steel Mesh | A diffuser cover that sits over the profile. | Per metre | Optional |
| Aluminium Channel | A rigid mounting track for the profile to sit in. | Per metre | Optional |
How many of each?
- One Live Cap and one End Cap per run — one end takes the power, the other is closed off.
- Back Clips along the length — as a rough guide allow about one clip per metre, and more than that if your run has several bends or curves. A straight run needs fewer clips; a curvier one needs more to hold its shape.
- Steel Mesh and Aluminium Channel are per metre — match the quantity to your profile length.
The box only shows what we currently list for that profile. Steel Mesh and Aluminium Channel appear when we have that specific item available for your profile's size — if you don't see one, it just means we don't have that item listed for this profile yet, not that the profile can't use one. The collar profiles are listed with Back Clips only.
Step two
What comes with the profile, and what you add
A silicon profile is an empty channel. On its own it does not light up — the two exceptions are the LED Neo Flex products, which have the LED built in.
Part of the profile
- The pure silicone body
- The built-in diffuser
- LED Neo Flex only: the LED itself, already inside
Bought alongside it
- An LED strip light — not needed for LED Neo Flex
- An LED driver to power the run
- Caps, clips and any mesh or channel
Each profile is built for one strip width, and the product page states it — for example 8mm Single/Tunable Strip light. Match that width when you choose your strip and the fit will be right.
Step three
Choosing the right profile
The name of each product tells you how it is meant to bend. That is usually the first thing to get right.
- Top ViewBends in the flatter, horizontal plane. This is the one for arches, domes and curved coves set into a ceiling.
- Side ViewDesigned to curve while it is mounted vertically along a wall or an edge — uprights, step edges and vertical returns.
- Semi CircleThe LT-1315, with a rounded face. It bends in the same flatter, horizontal plane as the Top View profiles.
- LED Neo FlexThe two products with the LED already built in, running at 24 V. No separate strip to buy — just a driver.
Then check two things on the product page: the compatible strip width, and the IP rating. Most of this range is IP-65 (dust-protected and sealed against water jets); some are IP-67 (fully dust-tight and sealed against temporary immersion). Every product page states its own rating — match it to where the light is going.
Step four
Drivers and run length
5 metres from one 12 V driver.
10 metres from one 24 V driver. For an even output end to end
Those figures are a voltage-drop limit, not a limit on the length we will supply. Push a single driver past them and the far end of the run starts to read dimmer than the near end. So order the full number of metres you need — it still ships in one piece — and plan the power feeds around these numbers, feeding a long installation from more than one driver.
Browse LED Drivers to match the voltage and wattage of your strip.
Putting it together
Ordering, step by step
- Measure your run and round upThe total in metres is the only quantity you need to work out.
- Open the Complete Your Order boxIt sits on the profile’s product page, between the price and the Add to Cart button.
- Set the length in the top rowEnter your metres there. Everything else on the page follows that number.
- Tick the fittings you wantLive Cap, End Cap and Back Clips are already ticked. Steel Mesh and Aluminium Channel are there to add if the profile takes them.
- Add your strip and driverPick from LED Strip Lights and LED Drivers. Skip the strip if you are buying LED Neo Flex.
- Add to cart in one clickThe profile length and every fitting you ticked go into the cart together.
Common questions
Is the price per metre or for a whole length?
Per metre. The quantity you enter is the number of metres you want, and the price shown against the profile is the rate for one metre.
Are clips and caps included in the profile price?
No — not any more. Live Caps, End Caps, Back Clips, Steel Mesh and Aluminium Channel are separate items, chosen and priced in the Complete Your Order box on the product page. You pay only for what you tick.
How many Back Clips should I order?
As a rough guide, allow about one clip per metre of profile and increase the quantity for longer runs. The clip quantity is yours to set in the fittings box.
Do I need to buy an LED strip as well?
Yes, for every profile in this range except the two LED Neo Flex products, which have the LED built in. The product page states the exact strip width the channel takes — match it when you shop LED Strip Lights.
Which driver do I need?
One that matches the voltage of your strip, sized for the wattage of the run. Keep to 5 metres from a single 12 V driver, or 10 metres from a single 24 V driver, and feed longer runs from more than one. See LED Drivers.
Will a long order arrive cut into pieces?
No. Whatever total you order ships as one continuous length, and you cut it to size on site.
Can I use these in a wet or dusty area?
Check the IP rating on the specific product page. Most of the range is IP-65 — dust-protected and sealed against water jets from any direction. Some are IP-67 — fully dust-tight and sealed against temporary immersion in water. Every profile is made from pure silicone that is heat-resistant and UV-resistant.
Top View or Side View — which do I need?
Look at the direction your run has to curve. If it bends flat, following an arch, a dome or a curved cove in a ceiling, use a Top View profile. If it has to curve while standing upright against a wall or an edge, use a Side View profile.
Not sure which profile, or how many metres?
Send us the run you are lighting and we will tell you the profile, the strip width and the driver to order.

Overview
Flexible Silicon Profiles are a cutting-edge lighting solution designed to enhance and diffuse the light emitted by LED strips. These profiles, commonly known as silicon jackets, serve a dual purpose: they act as both a protective cover for LED strips and an efficient light diffuser. This makes them an ideal choice for a variety of lighting projects.
Consider Flexible Silicon Profiles as a bendable, silicon-based alternative to traditional aluminum profiles used in the lighting industry. They offer similar functions and aesthetic appeal, but their flexible nature and waterproof properties open up a realm of additional applications.
Why Choose Flexible Silicon Profiles?
- Aesthetic Versatility: Their bendable design allows for creative lighting effects such as waves, circles, and more, adding an artistic touch to interiors.
- Waterproof Quality: Made from silicon, these profiles are inherently waterproof, making them a superior choice for outdoor lighting compared to aluminum profiles.
- UV Resistance: Silicon offers excellent UV resistance, surpassing materials like PC or PU often used in aluminum profile diffusers. This makes them ideal for exterior installations where UV exposure is a concern.
- Compatibility with Circular Coves: These profiles can be used in circular coves where aluminum profiles may not be suitable due to their rigidity.
- Optimal for Narrow Applications: Side bending silicon profiles allow the use of wider strips while achieving a slimmer, diffused light output, ideal for applications requiring a narrow profile.
- Low Profile Depth: Special silicon profiles with internal diffusers can use LED strips with higher pitch, avoiding dark spots and ensuring proper light diffusion.
Types of Flexible Silicon Profile Lights
- Side Bending: Ideal for curved or circular designs, these profiles bend sideways, reflecting light through a top diffuser.
- Top View or Vertical Bending: These profiles bend vertically, making them suitable for ceiling domes, arches, and wall-to-ceiling transitions.
- Circular 360-Degree Profile: Tube-like with an all-around diffuser, these are used in decorative applications for a complete glow.
- Profile with Collar: Top view profiles with a collar for easy installation and enhanced aesthetic appeal.
- Black Profile: Available with a black diffuser to suit various installation preferences and design aesthetics.
Purchase Guide
- Profile Selection: Choose the profile type based on your application – side bending or top view vertical bending.
- Length Planning: Consider the length limits (5m for 12v strips and 10m for 24v strips). Ensure compatibility with the LED strips.
- Accessory Check: Verify if compatible fixing clips and end-live caps are included by the vendor.
- Power Adapter Planning: Select suitable power adapters based on the profile length and LED strip requirements.
Installation Guide
- Professional Installation Recommended: Due to the complexity, a professional contractor is advised for installation.
- Testing before Installation: For recessed profiles, test with a sample before proceeding with the entire length.
- Quality LED Strips: Use high-quality LED strips with thick copper PCBs for longevity and easier maintenance.
- Outdoor Installation: Ensure proper sealing of end-live caps with silicon for outdoor applications.
Quality and Warranty
- Vendor Trust: The quality of silicon used is crucial. Purchase from reliable vendors for assurance of quality.
- Warranty: As a mechanical item, these profiles typically do not come with a vendor warranty.
- Lifespan: Expect a high lifespan for indoor use, often exceeding 10 years. Outdoor UV exposure may impact longevity.
