Our flagship in-house 20mm magnetic track range — designed, manufactured and warrantied in Delhi. ⚡ What is "DC-DC Inbuilt Driver" and why does it matter?
In every JS-FDS light module, a small DC-DC converter is built INTO the fitting itself. It takes the 48V DC from the track and locally regulates it to the exact voltage and current the LED needs.
Why this matters compared to cheap alternatives without inbuilt drivers:
- No flicker. Voltage fluctuation on the track is absorbed by the inbuilt driver. Cheap modules without one flicker visibly under load.
- Longer LED life. The LED sees constant clean current, so it lasts much longer than market alternatives.
- Modular replacement. If a module fails, you replace just that module — not the central driver and everything downstream.
- Mixed-CCT compatibility. You can mix 3000K, 4000K and 5500K modules on the same track without any one of them stealing power from the others.
- Better for dimming. Smooth dimming curves without colour shift, because each module has its own current control.
Cheap "no DC-DC" magnetic-track modules look the same on day one. They start flickering, colour-shifting, or failing within 6-12 months. We've seen it on customer site visits. The DC-DC inbuilt driver in FDS is the single biggest reason we put our 3-year warranty on it.
