Amber Bead Wood & Glass Loop Chandelier – A Sculptural Statement for Double-Height Dining

Turned wood beads in deep amber and walnut tones alternate with faceted and rounded hand-blown glass beads along a bendable metal armature, allowing the fixture to loop, cross and dip as it travels across the ceiling. Small integrated lights sit within the strand at intervals, giving the piece a continuous, jewellery-like glow rather than distinct points of light. The open, linear format means it can be scaled across a dining table, a stairwell void, or a full double-height room.

The amber glass beads are hand-blown using a traditional technique still practised in India's glassblowing hubs — molten glass is gathered on a blowpipe, shaped by mouth and gravity, then rolled and cooled on a marver, all without moulds or machine automation. This hand process means each bead carries small, natural variations in tone and form.
