A slim, perforated rectangular canopy houses a grid of integrated pinpoint LEDs that sit above the chip cluster like a scatter of stars, while hundreds of fine, near-invisible suspension wires drop straight down from it. Small flat, irregular chips of coloured glass and stone are threaded along these wires at carefully varied heights, so the piece gathers into a fuller, more voluminous mass through its vertical centre and thins gracefully towards the canopy and the floor — an organic, drifting silhouette rather than a flat uniform curtain. Light catches and refracts through the chips, casting soft dappled colour and shadow onto the surfaces below.
