Linear wall lights are elongated, bar-style fixtures rather than a single round or square point — commonly used above bathroom mirrors, along hallway walls, and as a horizontal accent above consoles or headboards, where a single wide strip of light reads better than several small fixtures.

• Match length to the mirror or wall span — a mirror light should generally match or slightly exceed the mirror's width
• Check the fixture is bathroom-rated for humidity before a mirror install; standard decorative linear lights usually aren't
• Match finish (marble, brass, matt copper) to your existing bathroom or hallway fittings
• Confirm mounting orientation before drilling — horizontal is most common, but not universal
