Recessed Aluminium Profile For Strips

Recessed Aluminium Profile for LED Strips

A recessed aluminium profile is set into the ceiling or wall — built into the false-ceiling gypsum board — so the LED strip sits flush with the surface rather than protruding, giving a clean, built-in line of light with no visible fixture. It's used heavily in false-ceiling cove lines, wardrobe shelving and modular kitchen work.

Carpenters and false-ceiling contractors across Delhi NCR order these before the false ceiling is framed, since the profile has to be built into the gypsum work rather than added afterward.

Types & finishes

• Eco-series recessed profiles in small sizes for tight, discreet lines
• Trim recessed profiles with a visible trim edge for a defined finished look
• Trimless recessed profiles for a completely flush, seamless line with no visible aluminium edge
• Basic-series recessed channels for standard false-ceiling and wardrobe runs

How to choose

• Choose trim if you want an easier fit with a thin visible metal edge; trimless disappears completely but needs more careful gypsum work
• Match profile depth to your false-ceiling cavity depth — confirm this with your ceiling contractor first
• Match internal width to your strip width exactly, to avoid light leaking sideways
• Plan recessed runs before the false ceiling is framed, not after
