Suspended Aluminium Profile For Strips

Suspended Aluminium Profile for LED Strips

A suspended aluminium profile hangs from the ceiling on wires or rods rather than fixing to a surface, giving a clean floating line of light. It's used over meeting tables, kitchen islands, reception counters and double-height spaces in offices, retail stores and premium homes.

Interior designers specify these where a fixed profile would visually break up a large open room — a suspended line reads lighter and more architectural than a surface- or recess-mounted run.

Types & finishes

• Round tube-style pendant profiles for a slim, minimal floating line
• Up-and-down profiles that throw light both upward onto the ceiling and downward onto the surface below
• Interconnectable profiles that join end-to-end for longer continuous runs across a large table or counter
• Compact suspended sections for shorter, single-drop installations

How to choose

• Choose up-and-down if you also want the ceiling above lit for a softer, ambient effect; down-only for a more functional beam
• Set suspension length against your ceiling height, especially in double-height spaces
• Use interconnectable profiles if the run is longer than a single standard length
• Check total run weight against your ceiling's suspension points before installation
