Up-Down Wall Lights

Up-down wall lights are wall-mounted fixtures with two light sources — one throwing light upward, one downward — used for facade lighting, staircases, corridors, and as a decorative accent either side of a mirror or headboard. The dual beam gives a more architectural, layered look than a single-direction wall light.

Our range spans antique brass metal fixtures with black or white accents for a warm, traditional-to-transitional look, through to black-and-gold metal-and-acrylic designs for a more contemporary finish.

Types & finishes

  • Antique brass metal wall lights, some with black or white accents
  • Black and gold metal-and-acrylic wall lights for a more contemporary finish
  • Glass-ball diffuser wall lights for a softer, rounded glow in both directions
  • Integrated LED versions alongside metal-and-glass designs with a more decorative body

How to choose

  • Set mounting height at eye level or slightly above for interior accent walls, higher for exterior facades
  • Check the IP rating if it's going on an exterior wall, since up-down lights are common facade fixtures
  • Match finish (antique brass, black, gold) to your door and window hardware
  • Space multiple units evenly along a corridor or facade for a consistent rhythm of light
