What kind of chandelier?

Chandelier for a room
A statement light with arms, tiers or rings, hung in the middle of a living room, dining room or bedroom.
Long chandelier over a table
A rectangular or linear chandelier that runs along a dining table or a long room.
Tall chandelier for a double-height space
A long, layered chandelier for a staircase, lobby or a living room two floors high.
Close to the ceiling
A chandelier fixed right on the ceiling, without a long rod, for rooms with lower ceilings.

Suggest a size for your room
Add the room’s length and width in feet; a chandelier about that many inches wide looks right. This is a guide only. Lights in other sizes stay in the list, after the suggested size.
Small room, up to 10 x 10 ft
About 40–60 cm wide (400–600 mm).
Medium room, 11–14 ft
About 55–75 cm wide (550–750 mm).
Large room, 15–18 ft
About 70–95 cm wide (700–950 mm).
Very large or double-height, 19 ft and more
90 cm and wider (900+ mm).
Keep the bottom of the light about 75–85 cm above a dining table, and at least 2.1 m above the floor where people walk. Most of our lights come with a cord or chain you can shorten when fitting.

Modern
Clean shapes and simple lines; fits most new homes.
Classic & crystal
Crystal drops, candle arms and traditional shapes that sparkle when lit.
Luxury statement
Large, rich pieces in gold, crystal or layered glass, made to be the first thing you notice.
Industrial
Metal shades, exposed bulbs and darker finishes, like a loft or café.

Wood, cane, jute and rattan; warm and relaxed.
Glass & globes
Glass shades and glass balls in clear, smoky, amber or frosted glass.
Marble & stone
Marble, onyx or ceramic shades with a soft, natural glow.

Ask us about the bulb type if it is not yet confirmed.
Uses bulbs
You fit your own bulbs, so you can choose the brightness and colour and change them easily later.
Built-in LED
The light is built in, with no bulbs to buy or change.

How high should I hang the light?
