Words explained
- CRI
- How true colours look under the light. Higher is better; 97 is close to daylight.
- lm/W (lumens per watt)
- How much light you get for each watt of power. Higher means brighter for the same bill.
- Driver
- The small power unit that runs the LED. It decides dimming, flicker and the warranty.
- Flicker-free
- A driver that keeps the light steady.
- Tunable white
- Change the light from warm to cool, and dim it.
- Warm / neutral / cool white
- 3000K · 4000K · 6000K, approximately. Lower K is warmer.
- Triac
- The common wall-dimmer type, also called phase-cut.
- 1–10V
- A wired dimming system used in offices, shops and hotels.
- DALI (DT-6 / DT-8)
- A professional lighting-control system. DT-6 dims single colour; DT-8 dims and tunes white.
- Zigbee
- A smart-home system; the light joins your Zigbee hub.
- Remote only / Remote + app
- Remote only works with its matched remote. Remote + app also connects to your phone by Bluetooth.
