Amber Pinecone Glass Chandelier – A Golden Statement for Double-Height Spaces

Inspired by the layered form of a pinecone in full bloom, this chandelier turns a familiar organic silhouette into a dramatic overhead sculpture. Dozens of individually hand-blown glass petals overlap in tight, feathered rows around a central frame, catching light along every curved edge. It reads as a genuine statement piece — the kind of fixture built for a double-height entrance lobby, a spa or indoor pool deck, or a formal dining space where guests are meant to look up. As with every piece in our custom chandelier line, this design is hand-crafted to order rather than mass-produced.

The structure is built on a dark, antique-finished metal armature with slender branches radiating outward from a central hub, each branch holding one hand-shaped glass petal. The petals taper to a soft point and are set in dense, overlapping tiers so the finished form reads as one continuous mass rather than a collection of parts — closer to a giant seed pod than a conventional multi-arm chandelier. The glass is finished in a warm amber-gold tone, with a scatter of deeper bronze-toned petals worked through the composition for tonal depth. Small point-source lights are set within the glass itself, so the entire cluster glows from inside out rather than being lit from above.

Every glass element on a piece like this is individually hand-blown by our Indian glass artisans — gathered molten from the furnace and shaped by hand while still hot, petal by petal, before being fixed onto the frame. Because each piece is blown rather than moulded, no two petals ever come out perfectly identical, and the glass tone can be adjusted to a customer's chosen palette rather than being limited to a single stock colour.
