Jainsons Lights, since 1978, engineered and installed a bespoke 8 ft × 4 ft oval dual-mode chandelier for the entrance reception lobby of a leading IT office ahead of an international delegate visit.

Design Concept:
Designed to upgrade the reception lobby within a tight timeline, the fixture combines soft sculptural forms with focused architectural illumination.
- Suspended Translucent Elements: 40 translucent tissue-glass elements arranged at varying heights to create a fluid, sculptural glow across the reception area.
- Dual-Mode Oval Canopy: An 8 ft × 4 ft oval ceiling canopy finished in matt gold that unifies the suspended sculptural elements with integrated directional downlighting.
Execution Highlights:
- Materials and Dimensions: An 8 ft × 4 ft oval matt-gold ceiling canopy supporting 40 suspended translucent tissue-glass elements at staggered drops.
- Light Source and Control: 40 illuminated tissue-glass elements paired with 15 integrated GU-10 spotlights at 3000K warm white, operated via a 3-mode wireless remote (ambient / spotlight / both).
- Design and Installation Process: Developed with 3D visualisations and technical engineering drawings within a 10-day turnaround, followed by overnight installation by our own team so daytime office work wasn't disturbed, and a prompt follow-up visit for fine-tuning.
