Ekaya Saree Store, Hyderabad – Rack, Mirror & Display Lighting

For Ekaya's Hyderabad store in 2023, we supplied the architectural lighting and supported the lighting design for the displays. Studio Lotus were the architects for the store of the Banaras textile and saree brand.

The lighting

• Racks and shelves: twin adjustable spotlights rotate fully to light the racks and shelves.
• Tables and bridal area: slim rectangular laser-blade lights illuminate the table tops, cash counter and bridal-area racks.
• Mirrors: black deep-recessed anti-glare COB lights with CRI 90 tilt from behind to light the person at the mirror without glare, so fabric colours look true.

Execution highlights

• General areas and paintings: deep recessed downlights provide light across the general areas and on the paintings.
• Brand board: a pop-out adjustable spotlight behind the cash counter lights the board.
