Original Iris Cristal · Imported from Europe
This is a genuine Iris Cristal light, imported into India from Europe. Iris Cristal is based in Redován, Alicante, Spain, and has a 40-year heritage. Its roots are in the crystal-making tradition of Old Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, going back to the 18th century. The maker uses centuries-old techniques of hand-drawing and hand-cutting crystal.
See the full Iris Cristal collectionDa Vinci gathers smoky fume crystal into a modern composition of sculpted glass curves. The Bohemia crystal arrangement is fairly compact, about 64 cm across and 47 cm high. The low spread puts the darker glass against the ceiling and the walls beyond, making a pale background especially useful.
A dining room with light walls and dark upholstered chairs would set off the glass colour. Eighteen G9 lamps provide the light points within this relatively contained chandelier.
