This is a genuine Iris Cristal light, imported into India from Europe. Iris Cristal is based in Redován, Alicante, Spain, and has a 40-year heritage. Its roots are in the crystal-making tradition of Old Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, going back to the 18th century. The maker uses centuries-old techniques of hand-drawing and hand-cutting crystal.

Sculpted Bohemia crystal curves carry the decoration across a wide body, about 60 cm in diameter. A body height of just 29 cm leaves the glass curves spreading widely around the light, with little vertical bulk.
