Original Iris Cristal · Imported from Europe
This is a genuine Iris Cristal light, imported into India from Europe. Iris Cristal is based in Redován, Alicante, Spain, and has a 40-year heritage. Its roots are in the crystal-making tradition of Old Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, going back to the 18th century. The maker uses centuries-old techniques of hand-drawing and hand-cutting crystal.
See the full Iris Cristal collectionTwenty-two sculpted arms bring a dense sweep of smoke blue crystal to Friz. The muted blue gives the Bohemia crystal curves a cool depth, with the many arms carrying the colour across the composition. Its body is about 90 cm wide and 80 cm high, a substantial shape in both directions.
In a high-ceiling lounge with blue or grey fabrics, the glass can become the central colour feature. Twelve G9 lamps serve Friz; its full hanging length is listed as 280 cm.
