This installation turns an entire stairwell or atrium void into a single, breathtaking fixture. Thousands of slender LED pins, each tipped with a small round diffuser, are hung at individually calculated lengths so the whole cluster reads as a soft, cloud-like form pouring down through the space — as dramatic viewed from the ground floor as it is from a mezzanine above.
Each pin is an independently driven LED module — an aluminium stem topped with a round acrylic diffuser — suspended from a rigging grid on fine cable. Because every drop height is calculated individually, the finished silhouette can be sculpted into almost any three-dimensional form, making this a genuine engineering and design centrepiece for very tall spaces.
