Sheets of faceted crystal mesh are folded and billowed into sail-like forms, suspended at different heights so the whole composition appears to hang mid-motion — caught somewhere between drapery and sculpture. Each panel refracts light into countless small flashes of colour, making the piece as compelling from below in daylight as it is illuminated after dark. Built for genuinely large volumes, it reads best against a tall, textured backdrop such as a wood-slat or stone feature wall.
The panels are constructed from a fine crystal-bead mesh set over a formed wire armature, allowing each sheet to be shaped into soft folds and billows rather than a flat, rigid form. Multiple panels are suspended independently on fine cables so their overlap and layering can be composed to the specific footprint and height of the space, from a compact sculptural cluster to a sweeping installation spanning an entire atrium ceiling.
