Hundreds of individually shaped hand-blown glass leaves in a rich, translucent green cover the framework, interspersed with soft frosted-white glass spheres that glow like ripening fruit when lit, and clusters of warm gold-toned glass drops cascading down like flowering panicles. LEDs are worked into the glass spheres themselves, so the light appears to originate from within the foliage rather than from any visible fixture.

Every glass leaf, sphere and drop on this piece is individually hand-blown by skilled Indian glass artisans — gathered molten from the furnace and shaped entirely by hand while still hot, which is why no two leaves or blooms ever turn out perfectly identical. Because the glass is blown rather than cast in a mould, the colour palette, leaf density and drop count can all be tailored to your brief.
