Oval Tissue-Style Chandelier – IT Office Reception Lobby

We made this oval tissue-style chandelier for the entrance reception lobby of an IT company's office in 2025. It hangs in the double-height space, combining the lobby's existing chandeliers with a new oval ceiling base and spotlights.

Project overview

• Space: double-height entrance reception lobby in an IT company's office
• Year: 2025
• Scope: a custom chandelier made from the lobby's existing chandeliers and installed by our team

The design

• Tissue-style pieces: translucent hanging pieces look like softly folded sheets, each with a slim gold top strip. They hang on fine wires at different heights from a custom oval base in a matt-gold finish.
• One hybrid piece: spotlights sit in the same oval base. A wireless remote offers three modes: tissue pieces only, spotlights only, or both together.

Execution highlights

• Design and timing: the office's interiors team asked us to replace the lobby lights before an important international visit. We showed design visuals, and the client chose our tissue-style chandelier concept.
• Installation: our own team installed the chandelier overnight, finishing just before the visit, and returned later for fine-tuning. The photos and site video are ours, taken on site. The 3D images at the end are design visuals made before production.
