Residence Chandeliers, Facade & Interior Lighting – Architect Gurpreet Singh, Design Essence

Jainsons Lights, since 1978, supplied the chandeliers, facade lighting and interior lighting for a private residence designed by architect Gurpreet Singh of Design Essence, and also supplied an illuminated stretch ceiling for the parking.

Project Overview:

• Site: a private residence (name withheld)
• Architect: Gurpreet Singh, Design Essence
• Scope: chandeliers, facade lighting, interior architectural lighting and a stretch ceiling for the parking

Chandeliers:

• Stairwell: a tall LED-loop chandelier – nested loops of light that drop from a round canopy through the height of the stairwell. Made to order: see our custom chandeliers.
• Double-height lobby: a cluster of glowing glass discs hung at different heights from a round gold canopy, in front of the backlit marble wall. Similar design: Raindrop Disc Cluster Chandelier.

Facade:

• LED outlines: 16 × 16 mm L-shaped aluminium profiles with a diffuser trace the roof and floor edges. See the profile.
• Up-lights: 18W one-way narrow-beam outdoor up-lights wash the wavy metal fins from the parapet wall. See the up-light.
• Metal frets: 12 × 12 mm neo-flex LED lines on the metal column frets. See neo-flex profiles.
• Soffits: 12W black surface cylinder (drum) lights.

Interior:

• Downlights: Phantom 12W deep-recessed anti-glare COB downlights, plus smaller 7W and twin 2 × 20W deep-recessed COB downlights, on dimmable drivers. See the Phantom 12W.
• Magnetic tracks: magnetic track lighting with linear spot and laser modules. See magnetic track lights.

Parking: we also supplied an illuminated stretch ceiling.
